Civil & Structural Engineering Consultancy

Engineering Clarity.When Structures Matter.

We reduce uncertainty in infrastructure. Inspection technology, structural analysis and independent judgement, applied to decisions that cannot be revisited cheaply.

Position

We do not sell construction. We deliver the evidence that makes a construction decision defensible — capacity, condition, cause, and confidence, each stated with its limitations.

Why Prostatika exists
Services

Nine disciplines. One standard of evidence.

Overview

We fly calibrated payloads to produce dimensionally reliable records of a structure's exterior condition. Flight plans are written against the inspection objective — crack mapping, spalling extent, coating breakdown, thermal anomalies — not against generic coverage. Every image is geo-referenced so a defect found today can be revisited at the same station in three years.

Applications

  • Bridge soffits, piers and cable systems
  • Cooling towers, stacks and process structures
  • Facade and cladding condition surveys
  • Post-event rapid damage reconnaissance
  • Solar field and wind turbine blade screening

Engineering methodology

  1. Scoping

Define defect classes, resolution targets and airspace constraints.

  2. Flight design

Ground sample distance fixed to the smallest defect of interest.

  3. Capture

Redundant overlap, calibrated optics, controlled lighting windows.

  4. Processing

    Photogrammetric reconstruction and orthomosaic generation.

  5. Assessment

Engineer-led defect classification against relevant codes.

Deliverables

  • Geo-referenced defect register
  • Orthomosaic elevations and 3D mesh
  • Annotated condition drawings
  • Prioritised intervention schedule

Method

A sequence, not a service menu.

Seven stages. The depth changes with the question; the order does not.

  1. 01ObserveUnderstand the asset, its history and the decision that has to be made.
  2. 02InspectAccess the structure and record condition at defined resolution.
  3. 03MeasureQuantify geometry, material properties and behaviour under load.
  4. 04ModelBuild numerical representations calibrated to the measurements.
  5. 05AnalyseTest the structure against demand, with sensitivity on the unknowns.
  6. 06RecommendState options, consequences and confidence — in engineering terms.
  7. 07DeliverSupport implementation and verify the outcome on site.
